The bigger the task, the harder it is to start. You tell yourself you'll do it, push it back, and suddenly the deadline has passed. — Honestly, the person writing this was one of those people for years.
So
There is a well-known method called GTD: first write down everything on your mind, organize it, and focus only on what you are doing now. Once it is written down and safely stored, you won't forget it — so you can put your mind to other things.
That's why I built this
yarukotto distills the essential parts of GTD into the lightest possible experience. I originally built it for myself. But now that it exists, I'd love for people who struggle with the same thing to try it.
Just look at "Today" and work through the list from the top.
Pricing
With a Gmail (Google) account, all the basic task-management features are free — with no usage limits. Only some AI-powered features (task breakdown and voice input) cost money to run, so those come with a free daily allowance that anyone can use. Use it up and it simply refreshes the next day.
If the free features are enough, you're welcome to use it forever. And if you ever want something more powerful, you can export your data and move to another app. — No lock-in.
For kids
For children who can read, I made a much simpler version where tasks become cards: create, pick, and flip. Flip them all and you're done! No login needed — it works right away. (The kids version is currently Japanese-only.)
